Ticket to Ride: Switzerland Expansion Brings New Routes and Challenges!

The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its railway empire with the new Switzerland expansion! This exciting addition introduces country-to-country and city-to-country routes, opening up a whole new strategic landscape for players. Build your railroad network through Switzerland and its neighboring countries, creating new and challenging gameplay opportunities.

This holiday season update also includes two brand-new characters and four fresh route tokens, a thoughtful gift from developer Marmalade Games to its loyal fanbase. The expansion isn't just about new locations; it introduces a fresh layer of strategic depth. These innovative routes demand careful planning and adaptation, making the game engaging for both seasoned players and newcomers alike.

Country-to-country tickets challenge you to connect specific countries, offering multiple choices and varying point values depending on your connection. Similarly, city-to-country tickets add another dimension, requiring connections between cities and countries. The limited number of nodes in each country necessitates swift and strategic decision-making to maximize your score.

Successful route completions earn points based on the highest-scoring connection, while incomplete tickets result in point deductions based on the lowest value. This risk-reward system adds an exciting element to the gameplay.

The Switzerland Expansion is currently available on Google Play, the App Store, and Steam, with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox releases coming soon. Stay updated on all Ticket to Ride news by following MarmaladeGames on Facebook and Instagram.
