The latest update for *Uncharted Waters Origin*, titled "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introduces an exciting new PvE challenge. This update also brings a new character and several new events, which will run until the beginning of November.
Monthly Event: The Lighthouse of the Ruins
In "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," players embark on a journey through various levels, starting from the lower depths and ascending upwards. Along the way, you'll engage in battles and collect rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Successfully clearing certain levels grants you exceptional rewards. The event refreshes at the start of each month, offering players another chance if they get stuck. After each reset, you can attempt to clear up to half of your previous progress, ensuring you're not starting from zero each time.
Attempting the Lighthouse of the Ruins requires 10 energy. If you fail, 8 energy is returned to you. However, redo items are not permitted, and rank rewards are distributed only once per month. Therefore, it's crucial to strategize carefully before diving into this challenge.
New Characters and Mates
The update introduces William Adams, an S-grade Admiral inspired by the historical English navigator who ended up in Japan aboard the Dutch ship Liefde. Adams must earn the trust of the Shogun. Alongside him, new Mates join the crew: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani as normal Mates, and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru as the latest Employee Mates.
Mate Growth System: Transcendence
The new Mate Growth system, called Transcendence, is now available in *Uncharted Waters Origin*. Once you've maximized the Premium Training for your Mate, Transcendence unlocks, granting them an additional Effect slot. The Tome of Transcendence, essential for this system, can be obtained from the Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and even through a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.
Combat Support Special Attendance Event
The Combat Support Special Attendance Event runs until November 5th. By simply participating, you can earn 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and gear such as the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung.
