Uno! Mobile and other titles receive Beyond Color update

Author : Audrey Feb 26,2025

Mattel163 enhances accessibility in its mobile card games with the "Beyond Colors" update. This update introduces colorblind-friendly decks to Phase 10: World Tour, Uno! Mobile, and Skip-Bo Mobile.

Instead of relying on color alone, the new decks utilize simple shapes—squares, triangles, circles, and stars—to represent the traditional card colors. This design ensures colorblind players can easily distinguish between cards.

The developer collaborated with colorblind gamers to create these inclusive decks, ensuring consistent symbol usage across all three games. The Beyond Colors feature is activated through in-game account settings, under card theme options.

This initiative aims to broaden accessibility for the estimated 300 million colorblind individuals worldwide. Mattel163 has committed to making 80% of its game portfolio colorblind-accessible by 2025.

Uno! Mobile offers the classic card-matching gameplay, Phase 10: World Tour presents phase-completion challenges, and Skip-Bo Mobile provides a unique solitaire experience. All three games are available on the App Store and Google Play. For more information on Mattel163 and the Beyond Colors update, visit their official website or Facebook page.
