Get ready for an exciting cosmic journey with LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars, launching later this month. This patch introduces a sweeping transformation, ushering players into the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star. Prepare to dive into an overhauled experience from the menus to the battlefield.
Three new champions are set to shake up the game with their unique abilities. First up is Ryze, the Rune Mage, who unleashes massive Area of Effect (AoE) damage and can teleport teammates across the map using Realm Warp. Next, Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to shroud enemies in darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, masters time, slowing foes and reviving allies with Chronoshift.
Alongside new champions, several characters are receiving significant reworks. Garen's Courage ability will now scale over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment will shred through enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Minor tweaks are also in store for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that emerge from portals during the laning phase. Mages will benefit from long-awaited item updates, including the new Bandle Fantasy item for extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 for slowing enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance to boost ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also evolving with the launch of the Challenger’s Star. A new season kicks off, bringing enhancements to the Ranked store and easier ways to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM—a fresh twist on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals.
The Wild Pass will introduce two breathtaking skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate's new look marks the debut of an entirely new skinline, promising a visual treat for players.
Mark your calendars—LoL: Wild Rift's version 6.1 patch will launch on April 16th. For more details, head over to the official website.
