Monster Couch has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated Wingspan: Asia Expansion. This update is scheduled to arrive simultaneously across all digital platforms on June 16th, 2025. Marking the third expansion in the digital adaptation of this beloved board game, it follows the previously released European and Oceania editions.
Another Ornithological Adventure Begins Soon!
The Wingspan: Asia Expansion immerses players in the rich and vibrant avian life of Asia. You will encounter numerous species, each equipped with unique traits and strategic applications. This expansion introduces 90 new bird cards to the already extensive deck.
In addition to the birds, you receive 13 fresh bonus cards. Two of these are specifically designed for Automa, the game’s solo play system. True to the Wingspan format, every card provides detailed information and fascinating facts about the featured birds.
However, the most significant addition brought by Wingspan: Asia Expansion is the new Duet Mode. Designed for two players, this mode revolves around a shared Duet Map. Players compete by placing tokens to claim habitat spaces while pursuing rotating objectives each round.
How Does Wingspan Asia Look?
Simply put: beautiful! The expansion features four stunning new backgrounds inspired by diverse landscapes across the continent. Additionally, eight new player portraits have been added, reflecting regional aesthetics and cultures. Take a look at the expansion in the latest date reveal trailer below.
Each session offers an atmospheric and personal experience, enhanced by four new music tracks composed by Paweł Górniak.
