HoYoverse has announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1's narrative, promising to unravel the mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
Version 1.7 will delve deep into the intricacies of Vivian’s backstory and finally shed light on Hugo's fate, which has been shrouded in mystery and speculation. Following Hugo's plunge into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated, prompting the Mayor to send a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the situation.
Accompanied by Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's encounters with figures from her past will unravel, and the Exaltists' conspiracy will begin to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup
Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird are joining the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully wields a parasol and rapier, dealing significant Corruption damage, especially when paired with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, the second new character, is an Ice Attack Agent who transforms his suitcase into a scythe, triggering a devastating Totalize effect on stunned enemies, with damage scaling based on the remaining stun duration.
Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, will throw cards with random effects, adding unpredictability to battles. The Physical Anomaly Agent, Jane, and the Fire Stun Agent, Lighter, will also make a return in Version 1.7's banners.
Version 1.7 introduces new events, including 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
