Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

Author : Oliver May 14,2025

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it appears that Bethesda is on the brink of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is set to be made tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent post on Twitter/X, Bethesda teased the upcoming announcement with an image prominently featuring a large "IV" and a background that bears a striking resemblance to iconic art from the original Oblivion game. While the post didn't explicitly state what the announcement would entail, the visual hints strongly suggest that the long-rumored Oblivion remake is about to become a reality.

Speculation about an Oblivion remake has been rampant for years, fueled by various leaks. The first hint came from a 2020 Bethesda release schedule that surfaced during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, indicating a planned remaster for fiscal year 2022. Although the document's age and missed release window initially cast doubt on the project's status, subsequent leaks in January of this year painted a clearer picture of a full-scale remake being developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos. The most recent leaks, just last week, from Virtuos' website, included images of the remake in progress, further solidifying the project's existence.

If these latest leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is expected to be released, featuring the iconic horse armor alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be an exciting confirmation and more detailed information about this highly anticipated remake.
