TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): Conduct standard-speed communication.
TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): Execute the highest-speed communication available. Only certain vehicle OBD-II protocols support this feature.
¹ Only the ISO 15765-4 CAN OBD-II protocol can deliver up to 140 parameters per second when used with an OBD-II adapter featuring a higher-quality chip. Older OBD-II protocols may provide as few as 4 parameters per second in some cases.
