Compatibility and Requirements:
Piston works with OBD-II (OBD2, OBDII) and EOBD standards. Most US vehicles manufactured from 1996 onward support OBD2. EOBD compliance in the EU began in 2001 for gasoline vehicles and 2004 for diesel. Australia and New Zealand adopted OBD2 in 2006 (gasoline) and 2007 (diesel). Piston only accesses data your vehicle provides through the OBD2 standard.
