Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Frosty Adventure Awaits!

Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and thrilling hunts amidst knee-deep snow and biting winds! This season is packed with exciting new additions to keep the hunt invigorated.

New Monsters and Challenges:

Season 4 introduces a snowy tundra habitat teeming with new monsters. Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex in their debut appearances. Barioth, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos, also join the fray. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within the season's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted after finishing the prologue.

The Versatile Switch Axe:

A brand-new weapon, the Switch Axe, makes its entrance. This dual-function weapon offers the best of both worlds: powerful, far-reaching strikes in Axe Mode, and ferocious sword attacks in Sword Mode. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2's pre-season story.

Customizable Palico Companions:

Season 4 introduces Palico companions to aid in material gathering and monster scouting. Customize your Palico's fur color, facial features, and name to your heart's content. AR enthusiasts can even bring their personalized Palico into the real world for memorable photos.

Friend Cheering Feature:

Boost your hunting camaraderie with the new Friend Cheering feature. Send cheers to friends for a temporary health boost, adding a supportive element to your hunts. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health you can gain from cheers.
