- The SmartTyre Car & Bike app requires Bluetooth to be enabled. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which has minimal impact on your device's battery life.
- Location services must be turned on for the app to function properly. SmartTyre Car & Bike does not access GPS; it relies solely on Bluetooth LE to connect with the tyre sensors.
- While the app does not run GPS in the background by default, optional features that require GPS will only activate if explicitly permitted by the user. Continuous GPS usage can significantly reduce battery life.
