Social football manager simulation game
The Open League is a football (soccer) management simulation deeply integrated with the Discord platform. Its core features include:
***Complete 90-minute football/soccer matches are simulated nightly, with live play-by-play commentary streamed directly to our Discord server.
***You manage your football/soccer club within a server of 30 teams, structured across three competitive leagues. Each three-week season sees the top three clubs promoted and the bottom three relegated.
***During the off-season, clubs attend a youth camp to recruit future stars. This weekend event allows managers to use scouting reports to bid on promising players. Most enduring team dynasties in TOL were founded on successful youth camp hauls.
***Managers can also arrange friendly matches against each other, often using the off-season to organize tournaments and build rivalries.
***Teams carry over from season to season, with players developing and declining over time. Effective squad management is crucial for building a consistently successful club.
***All player transfers are negotiated directly with other human managers via Discord before being finalized in the TOL app. Savvy negotiators excel here.
***TOL employs friendly Discord bots to assist with team management. For instance, you can DM your assistant Chris to issue a press release announcing your latest triumph to all other clubs!
The Open League supports multiple time zones. Matches are currently scheduled for 7:00 PM PST, EST, and GMT.
