eTide HDF: Your All-in-One Tide Chart and Widget Solution
eTide HDF provides comprehensive tide information worldwide, featuring detailed tide charts and convenient widgets. Access tide times for over 10,000 locations across the US, UK, Canada, and more, with forecasts extending several months into the future.
Offline Functionality & Customization:
- Offline Access: The app stores the last 50 tide charts offline, ensuring access even without an internet connection.
- Customizable Widgets: Resize widgets from 1x1 to 5x5, displaying data as a chart or table. Automatic updates reflect the current day, with offline access to widget data.
- Location Tracking: The app utilizes your current location to display nearby tide information ("tides near me").
Advanced Features & Data Visualization:
- Interactive Charts: Zoom and pan tide graphs with intuitive gestures. Swipe to view precise minute-by-minute predictions for the next few days.
- Depth Measurement Tool: A horizontal line on the graph helps determine boat launch and retrieval times based on desired depth. The app saves depth settings for each port.
- Multiple Time Zones & Units: Supports local, telephone, and GMT time, along with feet, inches, meters, and centimeters for height measurements.
- Distance Measurement: Calculate distances between two points in miles, kilometers, and nautical miles.
- Customizable Appearance: Adjust chart and table colors and transparency in both the app and widgets. Each station is displayed with a unique color. Day and night themes are available. Font size adjustments enhance readability.

- Sunrise/Sunset & Moonrise/Moonset: View times in table and diagram format; toggle visibility as needed.
- Interactive Map Tooltips: Hover over map stations for instant data display.
