This app features three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable within the Settings menu.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective, like in golf, is to achieve the lowest possible score across nine rounds. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards. Remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card face-up in a discard pile.
Players initially get one look at their two closest cards. These must remain hidden. Players can only view other cards when discarding or scoring.
On a turn, a player draws from the draw pile, replacing a card in their layout (without seeing the replaced card). The replaced card is added face-up to the discard pile. Players can also draw and immediately discard from the draw pile without replacing a card. Alternatively, they can draw from the discard pile, must replace a card, and then discard the drawn card.
A player can "knock" to end their turn; subsequent players can draw or discard but not knock. The round ends once a player knocks.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens & Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
This two-player game also aims for the lowest score over nine rounds. Each player starts with six face-down cards, a draw pile, and a face-up discard pile.
Players initially reveal two cards. They then reduce their hand's value by pairing cards of equal rank or swapping for lower-value cards.
Turns involve drawing one card from either pile. The drawn card is either swapped for a face-down card (leaving the swapped card face-up) or discarded. Discarding ends the player's turn. The round concludes when all cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens & Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: face value
The game supports AI opponents or local multiplayer.
