The Dark Knight once enjoyed a seemingly endless stream of video game adaptations, with a new title appearing almost annually. Rocksteady's acclaimed Batman Arkham series, in particular, revolutionized superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.
Lately, however, Batman's video game presence has dwindled. A proper solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans eagerly anticipate upcoming superhero games, those craving a Batman experience will need to delve into the back catalog to discover the best titles the Dark Knight has to offer.

He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though it's hardly a solo Batman game. The Arkhamverse also expanded with a new VR entry.
