The game throws you into the gritty, yet cartoonish, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, your job is to discreetly remove bodies, blood, and other incriminating evidence from mob crime scenes, all while dodging patrolling police.
Our previous 2019 review described the original Serial Cleaner as promising but unfinished. Developer Plug-in Digital is now self-publishing the mobile version, suggesting a chance for improvements.
A Funky Return?
Available for pre-registration now, with a February 11th, 2025 release date, the extent of the updates remains unclear. While a polished re-release would be welcome, given the time elapsed since the original launch, significant changes might be wishful thinking.
The core concept of Serial Cleaner is undeniably captivating, but a simple mobile port dampens some of the excitement. However, for Android users who missed out, or iOS players experiencing compatibility issues, this could be a fantastic opportunity.
