Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure originally launched on PC in 2015, and now returns with expanded content for mobile.
Originally developed by Brace Yourself Games, this isn't just a simple port; Crunchyroll has added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins! The mobile version also boasts cross-platform multiplayer and mod support. More is on the way, including Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion later this year.
What's Crypt of the NecroDancer All About?
Play as Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike gameplay ensures each playthrough is unique. With 15 playable characters, each with distinct styles, you'll dance your way through procedurally generated dungeons to the beat of Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Every move and attack must sync with the music—miss a beat, and it's game over! Face off against dancing skeletons, hip-hop dragons, and more!
More Than Just a Mobile Port
This mobile release offers a significantly enhanced experience. Beyond the core gameplay, expect additional content, remixes, and exciting crossover skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support add to the replayability. Future updates promise even more, including the highly anticipated Hatsune Miku DLC.
