Diablo 4 Reveals New Consumables Coming in Season 5

Diablo IV Season 5 Leaked: New Consumables and Infernal Hordes Mode Unveiled!

Exciting news for Diablo IV players! Data mining reveals four new consumables arriving in Season 5, alongside a thrilling new endgame mode: Infernal Hordes. This week's Public Test Realm (PTR) update has begun shedding light on these additions.

Consumables in Diablo IV restore resources or grant temporary buffs, obtainable through monster kills, chests, crests, or merchant purchases. Existing types include healing potions, stat-boosting elixirs, and life/resistance-enhancing incense. Season 5 expands this with four intriguing new additions:

  • Antipathy: A rare anointment boosting resistances.
  • Blackblood: A common anointment enhancing a random core stat.
  • Vitriol: A magical anointment increasing damage over time.
  • Triune Anointment Cache: A new cache containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials.

These consumables are specifically tied to the new Infernal Hordes mode, a challenging roguelite experience where players face waves of enemies within a 90-second timer. After each wave, players select from three modifiers to adjust the difficulty and rewards. Abyssal Scrolls will also be available to further ramp up the challenge, similar to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir.

While details on acquisition, usage costs, and crafting recipes for these anointments remain scarce, the PTR (open until July 2nd) promises to unveil further information. Stay tuned for updates as players delve into the new content and uncover the secrets of Season 5!
