How To Earn Skill Points Fast In Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Efficient Skill Point Farming in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Dynasty Warriors: Origins rewards players with Skill Points for battlefield prowess, enabling the unlocking of new skills across various skill trees. These skills enhance combat effectiveness and unlock Battle Arts, regardless of your rank. Early-game skill acquisition can be costly, necessitating efficient Skill Point farming alongside the main campaign.

Rapid Skill Point Farming: The Skirmish Method

Defeating 100 enemies awards three Skill Points. While main battles offer enemy encounters, their win conditions make them inefficient for grinding. Focus instead on skirmishes found throughout the overworld.

In skirmishes, prioritize eliminating waves of endlessly spawning minor enemies, neglecting officers. This allows continuous Skill Point accumulation (three points per 100 kills) without the risk of battle failure. The skirmish continues until the required officers are defeated. This method yields approximately 50 Skill Points within minutes, depending on enemy spawn rates.

Optimizing the Skirmish Method:

  • Weapon Choice: Spears excel at clearing large groups of weaker enemies.
  • Wellspring Gem: Regenerates health upon reaching 100 kills.
  • Oblivion Gem: (Alternative) Boosts enemy elimination speed.

Once your health is critically low, focus on defeating the remaining officers to complete the skirmish and earn additional Skill Points.

Alternative Skill Point Acquisition

Beyond skirmish farming, complete Training objectives assigned by characters encountered in the overworld. Many objectives are easily completed through normal gameplay, providing additional Skill Points without requiring dedicated effort. These can be completed at any time during battles. Remember to check in with these characters regularly.
