Fortnite's new Reload mode brings back classic locations with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Get ready for a nostalgic battle!
What's in Reload Mode?
Reload mode offers intense squad-based combat where a single surviving teammate keeps your squad in the game. Complete squad wipes mean elimination – no second chances! This high-stakes gameplay applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
The mode features a compact island, eliminating drivable vehicles but boasting a diverse selection of unvaulted weapons. Expect to find old favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.
Victory Crowns remain, and reboots provide a common Assault Rifle (plus building materials in Build mode). A dynamic Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds pressure, but eliminating enemies reduces this time. Players can also choose to instantly initiate their reboot.
Elimination and Strategy
Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), ensuring continuous, resource-driven combat.
Rewards and Challenges
Complete intro quests for substantial XP rewards! Three quests unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six unlock the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine unlock the NaNa Bath Back Bling. A Victory Royale earns you The Rezzbrella Glider.
