Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new character Koda, enhanced movement, and seasonal events. This icy update introduces a new playable character, Koda, an arctic native with a mystical fox mask granting him the Aurora Vision ability. This enhanced sense allows him to detect enemies behind cover (excluding crouching or prone opponents) and highlights enemy positions during parachuting.
The highlight of the update is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails enabling players to dash, shoot, and utilize throwables while traversing the map. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
Aurora Events further enhance the winter experience, featuring aurora-affected Coin Machines in Battle Royale and Supply Gadgets in Clash Squad. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides buffs for the entire team.
