Imperial Miners: Beloved Game Goes Digital on Android

Portal Games Digital brings the popular board game, Imperial Miners, to Android! This digital card game challenges you to build the most efficient mine, strategically placing cards to create a thriving underground empire. Already boasting a collection of similar digital adaptations (Neuroshima Convoy, Imperial Settlers: Roll & Write, and Tides of Time), Portal Games continues to expand its Android library.

Designed by Tim Armstrong (known for Arcana Rising and Orbis) and illustrated by Hanna Kuik (whose credits include Batman: Everybody Lies and Dune: House Secrets), Imperial Miners offers a compelling experience.

Gameplay Overview:

Players manage an underground excavation, aiming to maximize Victory Points by strategically playing cards and collecting Crystals and Carts. The unique card-playing system triggers cascading effects, adding depth and strategic complexity. Six distinct factions offer diverse combinations and synergistic possibilities. Ten rounds, each introducing a new Event, ensure replayability and unexpected challenges. Three randomly selected Progress boards from a set of six provide varied strategic avenues.

Worth the Investment?

Imperial Miners offers a captivating engine-building experience, faithfully replicating the appeal of the original board game. Priced at $4.99 on the Google Play Store, it's a worthwhile addition for fans of strategic card games and engine-building mechanics. Check it out and explore the depths of your own subterranean empire!
