In the comic universe, Malice represents the darker persona of Sue Storm, also known as Invisible Woman. This eventually led to Sue purging Malice from her psyche. NetEase Games revealed the Malice skin through a Twitter clip, showcasing a striking design with black leather, red accents, and spikes on the mask, shoulders, and thigh-high boots.
