Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is preparing to launch a major update. Aniplex will introduce a limited-time event quest titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Scene 0 Part I, serving as the first installment in a three-part story arc that will eventually tie into the game's main narrative.
New Story Content Arrives May 30th
This special event introduces a brand-new character, fresh gameplay mechanics, and expanded lore. Players have until May 30th to complete the main story if they haven't already.
Anniversary Celebration Through Storytelling
Originally developed for Magia Record to commemorate Puella Magi Madoka Magica's 10th anniversary, Scene 0 follows Mabayu Aki, a Mitakihara middle schooler who experiences a bizarre phenomenon - time freezing for everyone except herself. This supernatural event leads her into a world of magical encounters, including a fateful meeting with a powerful magical girl.
The event will be available from May 30th through June 30th before being permanently integrated into the main storyline later. To access it, players must first clear The Fourth Window Into Memory [Dessert Witch] BOSS in the main quest.
Rewards and Collectibles
Event participants can earn special medals through gameplay that can be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including the "Granting Impossible Miracles" portrait and Magica Stones. The portrait will subsequently become available in the Archive Medal Exchange.
Major Content Additions
Launching alongside the event on May 30th is a new 5-star Kioku character: Hollow Woman Mabayu Aki, available through the Fate Weave until June's end. Players are guaranteed at least one 4-star or higher Kioku for every 10 consecutive draws.
New Game Mode: Chaos
The main quest receives an upgrade with the introduction of Chaos Mode, featuring challenging boss battles against witches and rumors, each with unique mission objectives. To unlock this mode, players must complete the Nightmare version of Window Into Memory [Needle Witch] BOSS from the Oriko☆Magica questline.
