After a two-year early access period on PC, Mutants: Genesis has now launched officially across Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, this innovative online card game brings its cards to life in exciting ways.
A Mutants Cards Game?
In Mutants: Genesis, you'll immerse yourself in a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues. The game centers around building decks and summoning mutants that transform into animated creatures for battles in holographic arenas.
You assume the role of a Psycog, a master strategist who commands genetically modified mutants in fast-paced battles. As the new leader of the Panakeia team, your journey will take you across the globe to compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League. Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions, unlock innovative cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities. This card game emphasizes adaptation, strategic planning, and evolving your tactics with each turn.
Mutants: Genesis boasts over 200 cards, categorized into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene focuses on precision and machinery, featuring mutants with self-repair capabilities and swift attacks through mechanics like Self-Repair and Dual Core. In contrast, the Necro gene embraces a darker theme, allowing you to wield death as a weapon with cards that resurrect stronger and utilize unique resources like Bones to enhance your forces.
The Blades gene rewards sharp tactical thinking, employing Orbs and condition-based powers to shift the battle's momentum. Zoo introduces chaos, with mutants that evolve rapidly and deliver unexpected moves as they advance. Space brings a militaristic approach, emphasizing squad unity and robust defenses. Lastly, the Mystic gene harnesses magic to control the battlefield's pace with abilities like Burn and Stasis, summoning mythical creatures to dominate your opponents.
