Sonic Games Gear Up for Hedgehog 3 Release

Get ready for a sonic boom! Sega is celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a flurry of exciting updates across its mobile Sonic game lineup. From Apple Arcade's Sonic Dream Team to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces (available on the App Store and Google Play), these updates deliver fresh, movie-inspired content.

First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces receives a brand new Metro-city Zone. This challenging addition features three tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets a major update, introducing Shadow as a playable character with all-new abilities. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. Harness Shadow's Chaos Control and Chaos Shift to manipulate time, freezing foes and the environment.

This update also expands gameplay options for all characters with new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost. Shadow receives exclusive upgrades, including Double Chaos Shift. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are also included, along with a revamped tutorial for new players.

Lastly, Sonic Dash's update arrives December 20th, letting you unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic by collecting cards. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
