Following last week's minor leak, EA officially announced the title and developer behind its upcoming Star Wars game: Star Wars: Zero Company. The tactical title is being created by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment.

Details remain scarce beyond confirmation that Zero Company will be a single-player turn-based tactics game. However, EA promises an exclusive first look during Star Wars Celebration Japan on April 19.
Bit Reactor is a fresh strategy-focused studio established in 2022, staffed by veterans from acclaimed franchises including XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. While their partnership with Respawn on a Star Wars project was previously known, these are the first concrete details about the game.
Respawn's exact role remains somewhat unclear. The studio has faced significant challenges recently, including the cancellation of their Star Wars FPS last year (coinciding with EA layoffs) and axing another multiplayer FPS prototype just weeks ago.
Additional Zero Company revelations will debut during a live panel on April 19 at 4:30 PM JST (converting to 12:30 AM PT/3:30 AM ET for North American audiences - alarm clocks recommended).
