Poncle, the UK-based developer behind the hit roguelike Vampire Survivors, has offered a progress update on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions. Following the May releases of the game's latest expansion and update, the developer addressed anticipated arrival on Sony's consoles, initially announced for Summer 2024.
Launched in December 2021, Vampire Survivors quickly gained acclaim. After a successful Nintendo Switch port, the PS4 and PS5 versions were confirmed in April. While a precise release date remains unannounced, Poncle assures players it will be shared soon. The delay, they explain, is due to navigating the complexities of PlayStation's submission process—a first for the indie studio. Furthermore, Poncle is meticulously crafting the PlayStation Trophies, aiming to replicate the experience of the game's over 200 Steam achievements.
