Peak Hunters boasts a growing database of summits across the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. Use your phone's GPS to log your ascents, earning points based on altitude and difficulty. Add your own ratings and photos to each conquered peak. The app clearly displays all peaks on the map, filterable by country, mountain range, or distance from your location. Download offline map data for reliable navigation, even in areas with weak signal. Maps utilize OpenStreetMaps and include hiking trails. Discover and add missing peaks: long-press any unlisted summit on the map to submit it for inclusion in the database. Approved submissions earn bonus points! Enjoy expanding statistics and collectible badges, with special recognition for rare achievements. Access current weather forecasts for up to 48 hours ahead, aiding in trip planning. A unique feature allows mountain identification by simply pointing your phone at the summit (with the correct distance filter). Choose anonymous mode for privacy; note that profiles cannot be transferred or restored in this mode. We recommend trying anonymous mode then switching to a registered profile.
The app is entirely free, ad-free, and developed by a hiker seeking a peak-bagging app with offline maps. Now featuring a manual dark/light mode switch accessible in your user profile. Report bugs or feedback directly via the in-app form. No website is needed; the app is fully self-contained.
