Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0: A Festive Overhaul
Developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, bringing a blizzard of changes to this tower defense game. The update boasts a revamped lobby, a significantly expanded unit roster, and a host of quality-of-life improvements designed to enhance the player experience.
The most striking alteration is the completely redesigned lobby, offering anime enthusiasts a much more spacious and visually appealing environment to begin their gameplay. This overhaul also includes a remastered user interface, with a notably improved stage selection screen. As Kitawari explains in the patch notes, the previous lobby was deemed too small and cramped, hindering the addition of new game modes. The new lobby is described as "10x more impressive," and even features a customizable day/night cycle accessible through the settings menu.
Key additions in this update include:
-
New Game Modes: The "Portals" mode introduces unique mechanics and tiered rewards, encouraging players to utilize winter units and skins for enhanced damage and bonus rewards. A "Sandbox Mode" allows for unrestricted experimentation with strategies.
-
12 New Units: Twelve new units are available across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and leaderboard rewards. These units are detailed in the patch notes below.
-
Quality-of-Life Improvements: Numerous refinements enhance gameplay smoothness, including improved unit placement, a dedicated tab for Evolution Quests, search bars for skins and familiars, and clearer unit targeting indicators.
The update builds on previous content additions, such as the November update inspired by the anime series Dandadan. For more information on active codes, please refer to this link.
