Epic Games has kicked off their revamped free games program, now delighting gamers with weekly offerings instead of monthly. This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist at no cost. You have until March 27th to claim these exciting titles. Unlike previous announcements, Epic is keeping the upcoming free games a surprise for next week, adding an element of anticipation to the mix.
Super Meat Boy Forever revives the intense, challenging platforming experience of its predecessor but introduces it as an auto-runner. Players will navigate through a gauntlet of sawblades and deadly traps with automatic movement, focusing on perfectly timed jumps and attacks. The game retains the precision-based gameplay fans loved, now with added controller support, although the touch controls are also quite responsive for those who prefer them.
In contrast, Eastern Exorcist offers a more somber experience as a side-scrolling action RPG deeply rooted in Chinese and Japanese folklore. As an exorcist, you'll battle demons and supernatural entities in a visually striking world. The game stands out with its hand-drawn art and unique, eerie character designs, complemented by stunning cut scenes that elevate the atmospheric storytelling.
You can download both Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist from the Epic Games Store on your Android device.
