A pivotal new mechanic, "Imbue," graces the expansion. If you're playing as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll be blessed by the World Tree. The first time you play an Imbue card, your Hero Power transforms into a more potent version, uniquely tailored to your class. Subsequent Imbue cards further enhance your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters can harness the Blessing of the Wolf, while other classes watch on, as Imbue has no effect for them.
For those drawn to a darker path, the Old Gods offer "Dark Gifts," a new keyword brimming with corruption and power. This mechanic appeals to Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior players, providing twisted enhancements that synergize with Discover options to unleash nightmare-fueled minions.
