How to Survive All Monsters in Pressure
This comprehensive guide outlines how to defeat every monster in Pressure. Some are random encounters, others are node monsters following specific paths, and some, like The DiVine, appear in specific areas (Oxygen Gardens). Learn the strategies and cues to effectively evade or counter each threat. Remember, prolonged hiding triggers Cleithrophobia, forcing you out of hiding; observe the monster's signs before seeking shelter.
Pandemonium
Flickering lights signal Pandemonium's possible arrival. Avoid immediately hiding due to Cleithrophobia; position yourself near a locker and listen for its roar. Pandemonium instantly kills anyone in its line of sight outside a locker. Entering a locker initiates a mini-game: keep the cursor centered as the monster slams the locker. Survival means victory.
Good People
Good People spawns in rooms with dead-end doors, one being a fake. Entering the fake door results in death. Identify the fake door by:
- Audio Cues: Listen for breathing, growling, sparks, or faint scanlines on the nav-path sign near the door.
- Dark Rooms: In dark rooms, the nav-path screen for fake doors remains lit, while real doors remain dark.
- HQ Messages: If HQ directs you down a path without specifying the incorrect one, prioritize checking for fake doors.
Eyefestation
This shark-like monster appears in rooms overlooking the ocean. Avoid eye contact through the window, as it drains HP. Simply leave the room to despawn it.
Squiddles

Easily avoided: turn off your light upon sighting them and maintain distance. They appear in dark rooms or rooms darkened by other monsters.
Locker Void-Mass
These slimes randomly spawn in lockers; entering an infested locker causes damage and entrapment. Check for purple slime before entering. Trapped players take continuous damage until freed or killed.
Wall Dweller
These spawn in walls, emerging unexpectedly to insta-kill. Listen for out-of-sync footsteps. Turning towards one causes it to retreat. Teamwork is key: bait an attack and have a teammate eliminate it. Note: The Angler (detailed below) kills Wall Dwellers, leaving behind a health-restoring meat chunk (defective if the player kills it).
Redeemer and Hanger
Finding the Redeemer revolver triggers a mini-game against the Hanger. Rapidly mash the E (Interact) button to resist the Hanger's influence and shoot it. Failure results in self-harm or being stabbed for 20 damage per hit.
Candlebearers & Candlebrutes
Candlebearers are stunned by light, but don't shine for more than 3 seconds; they'll become enraged. Sporadic illumination slows them down. Candlebrutes are faster and only slowed by light; shine for up to 5 seconds before they enrage (fully blue light indicates enragement).
The Angler
Brief light flickering signals The Angler's arrival. Hiding in a nearby locker is most effective; submerging your head in water is an alternative. It spawns only in rooms with lockers and insta-kills anyone in line of sight if not hidden.
Pinkie
Similar to The Angler, but without the light flicker warning. A screech signals its approach; hide in a locker. Spawning rules are identical to The Angler.
Froger
Identical to The Angler (flickering lights, screech), except it rebounds after reaching the end of its path, requiring repeated hiding.
Chainsmoker
Similar to The Angler, with flickering lights and rattling chains. It emits green smoke before entering a room, potentially forcing you out of lockers. Hide when the screen shakes. It's one of the slower monsters.
Blitz
The fastest variant. A screech signals its approach; a loud roar precedes its entry. Hide immediately upon hearing the roar.
Bottomfeeder
Appears in The Dredge and attacks only in water. Use dry land to evade. If caught, a mini-game (mashing Q and E or equivalent mobile buttons) allows escape, but drains health.
The DiVine

These tree-like monsters in Oxygen Gardens are non-hostile unless you step on grass. They deal 75 damage upon contact. Be mindful of other monsters (e.g., avoid eye contact with Eyefestation while avoiding grass).
