King Slime
Considered more of a mini-boss, the King Slime is less threatening than other bosses in Arcane Lineage. However, it remains a formidable foe for low-level players. Note that defeating this boss does not yield soul points.
King Slime Location
King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes are defeated on the server. It appears around the city nearest to the last slain slime, with a notification on the Quest Board alerting players to the active King Slime quest. The quest involves two steps:
- Find the King Slime
- Kill the King Slime
The quest has a 30-minute global cooldown on the server.
King Slime Fighting Strategy
With a base of 400 HP (600 HP if Corrupted), King Slime has the lowest health among bosses. Its primary attack involves summoning additional Slimes that can overwhelm your party. Additionally, it uses AOE poison attacks, so come prepared with potions and cleansing abilities. After dealing with the summoned Slimes, you can take down King Slime in just a few turns. Its AOE attacks apply Poisoned status but do not cause direct damage, allowing room for offensive maneuvers.
Attacks | Energy Cost | Effect |
---|---|---|
Slime Creation | 1 | Summons a Slime to fight for King Slime. |
Crush | 0 | King Slime lunges forward, attacking a party member. |
Poison Eruption | 2 | King Slime throws out a burst of Acid, poisoning your party. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |

- Ferrus Skin Potion
- Small Health Potion
- Essence

Yar’thul, the Blazing Dragon
Yar’thul is a fire-type boss, utilizing Fire and Inferno-based attacks to damage the party. Most of its attacks inflict Inferno and Burning effects, making preparation crucial. Yar’thul is resistant to fire and physical damage but weak to Hex damage.
Yar’thul Location
To encounter Yar’thul, venture deep into the Desert and reach Mount Thul, an active volcano formed by Yar’thul’s intense heat. Navigate through the volcano's dark corridors to find the Blazing Dragon at the end.
Yar’thul Fighting Strategy
With 1200 HP (1800 HP if Corrupted), Yar’thul compensates for its lack of durability with significant damage output. Its attacks primarily inflict Inferno and Burning effects, making this a race against time to defeat the dragon before succumbing to its flames. Below 50% health, Yar’thul enters a second phase, summoning meteors that stun and reduce healing. Focus on ending the battle swiftly to avoid prolonged meteor damage. Equip Dragon Ring and at least Pristine level accessories to ease the fight. The Corrupted version gains lifesteal.
Attacks | Energy Cost | Effect |
---|---|---|
Inferno | 0 | Automatically inflicts the Inferno status effect on the party at the start of battle. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Fire Claw | 0 | Yar’thul slashes with fire-imbued claws, dealing light damage. |

Blaze Core | 3 | Yar’thul consumes the party's Inferno stacks, healing based on the amount consumed. |
Blaze Eruption | 2 | Yar’thul slams arms into the ground, further damaging burning targets and applying scaling Inferno and Burning stacks. |
Magma Beam | 4 | Yar’thul charges a beam of fire for 1 turn, then fires it for massive damage and affects adjacent units. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Hellfire | 1 | Yar’thul sends an unstoppable wave of fire, lightly damaging the party and applying 9 stacks of Burning. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |
Armageddon | 6 | Below 50% health, Yar’thul may summon a meteor to devastate the party, dealing massive damage and applying healing reduction with a chance to stun. This attack cannot be dodged or blocked. |

Thorian Location
Find Thorian in the Deeproot Canopy within the Cess Grounds. Enter the Cess Grounds and head right; its massive form is hard to miss.
Thorian Fighting Strategy
With 2,600 HP (3,900 HP if Corrupted), Thorian presents a challenging battle with unique mechanics. Its passive negation heals 150% of damage if hit with the same attack type twice in a row, requiring varied attack strategies. Thorian is resistant to most damage types except Holy (135% damage) and slightly weak to fire (10% damage increase). Below 50% health, it unleashes a devastating attack, applying Plague, Curse, and Hexed effects, which has a 15-turn cooldown.

Metrom’s Vessel
Once a proud hero, Metrom’s Vessel now serves as a shell for Metrom, sealed within a Temporal Jail after attempting to wreak vengeance on mortal races. The jail significantly weakens Metrom, but the fight remains challenging.
Metrom’s Vessel Location
Metrom’s Vessel is a Raid Boss that spawns on a global timer. To enter the fight, you need a Void Key, obtained by defeating corrupted versions of other bosses. Wait for the server-wide notification to learn Metrom’s Vessel's location.
Metrom’s Vessel Fighting Strategy
Described simply as a "statpile," Metrom’s Vessel boasts 10,000 HP (15,000 HP if Corrupted) and high damage negation, requiring 30 to 60 minutes to defeat. The battle has two phases with different moves and mechanics, including significant damage output.
In the first phase, Metrom’s Vessel has black wings that grant damage negation. Destroying these wings requires applying status effects and debuffs, but be mindful: fewer wings increase its damage output. Time your wing-destroying abilities carefully. Metrom’s Vessel also summons Shadeblades with 200 HP each, which deal high damage if not quickly dispatched. Prolonged fighting increases the risk of Metrom’s Vessel using Oblivion, an undodgeable attack dealing 50% max HP to everyone.
In the second phase, the Temporal Jail shatters, and Metrom’s Vessel's wings gain Offensive and Defensive modes. Offensive mode increases damage output and buffs summoned minions, while Defensive mode provides high damage resistance and a Thorns Aura. Continue applying debuffs and status effects to destroy the wings. Metrom’s Vessel also sends out Minishade Bringers upon failed dodges. Coordinating with your team and managing debuffs effectively is key to victory.
